Liquid Food Filling Line
Liquid food filling lines are suitable for various types of beverages including water, carbonated drinks, juice, tea, and dairy products. Since each type of beverage behaves differently during filling and each type of packaging has its own requirements, the processing and filling setup needs to match the product, filling temperature, pressure, hygiene requirements, and container being used:
- Bottled Water
For PET bottles, blowing, filling, and capping can be done in one unit. Once the bottle is formed, it goes straight to filling and capping in the same machine. - Carbonated Soft Drinks
Carbonated drinks need pressure control during filling because the carbon dioxide (CO₂) can escape if the pressure drops too much. Carbonated beverages are kept cold because lower temperatures help the CO₂ stay dissolved and reduce foam during filling. - Glass Bottles
Glass bottle filling lines include a large bottle washer to clean the bottles thoroughly before filling. - Hot Filling
Juice and tea can be filled while still hot, so the heat from the beverage also treats the inside of the bottle and the cap. After filling, the bottles pass through a cooling tunnel to bring the temperature down. - Ultraclean Filling
Juice and dairy drinks can be filled at lower temperatures, but the bottles and caps need to be sterilized first. The bottles move through a clean filling area to reduce the risk of contamination without exposing the beverage to too much heat.
