Dairy Products and Beverage Processing Line
Beverage processing lines can handle various types of beverages such as ready-to-drink tea and coffee, functional drinks, and plant-based beverages such as soy or oat drinks. Since each beverage starts from a different base, the process stages are adjusted according to each recipe. For example, for beverages made with tea and/or coffee, the flavor is first extracted from the tea leaves or coffee beans before the liquid is blended with the other ingredients. Plant-based drinks on the other hand follow a different process, since the base first has to be made from ingredients such as soybeans or oats before the beverage is blended with the rest of the recipe.
Once the beverage base is ready, the rest of the ingredients are measured and added according to the recipe before blending. For functional drinks, some ingredients are added in very small amounts, so accurate dosing is needed to keep the formulation consistent from batch to batch. The finished blend then goes through heat treatment before moving to aseptic filling, which keeps the beverage protected from contamination until it is packaged.
